With the upgrading of the calcium carbonate industry towards refinement and functionalization, especially the wide application of nano calcium and activated calcium carbonate powder, dust leakage, measurement fluctuation and bridging material breakage in the packaging link have become long-term pain points restricting production efficiency. Facing ultra-fine powder materials such as calcium carbonate, talc powder, silicon dioxide, kaolin, bentonite and titanium dioxide, Guangzhou Marchi Packaging Equipment Co., Ltd. and its Hefei production base have built a complete supporting system from single machine to whole production line with 26 years of industry experience. Recently, we paid an on-site visit to the company's packaging equipment testing center and conducted a full-process observation of its calcium carbonate packaging machine, calcium carbonate ton bag packaging machine and calcium carbonate powder packaging machine.

I. Model Selection and Core Configuration Analysis

(1) MCZD-25F Fully Automatic Powder Heavy Bag Packaging Machine (Calcium Carbonate Powder Packaging Machine)

This model is specially designed for high-precision packaging of small specifications from 5kg to 25kg, mainly solving the problems of dust emission and filling speed bottleneck of calcium carbonate powder in production workshops.

  • Core Feeding System: Adopts a fully servo motor driven single screw feeding system with real-time adjustable speed. Designed for the transportation of large-capacity bulk bags from 400kg to 600kg, this machine adopts gross weight weighing and metering mode. The bulk bag is hung on the weighing platform for direct filling, featuring high uniformity and high impact resistance.

  • Feeding Device: Adopts a double screw feeding structure, relying on material self-weight for feeding and controlling flow through frequency conversion speed regulation. A cut-off butterfly valve is installed at the outlet of the single arc feeding gate to effectively prevent residual material from falling and affecting accuracy and causing environmental pollution.
  • Weighing Platform: Equipped with special weighing sensors with high comprehensive accuracy, long-term stability and overload impact resistance, supplemented by force connection mechanism to ensure 100% complete transmission of bag weight and excellent automatic mechanical reset performance.
  • Hanging and Bag Dropping Structure: The hanging and unhooking / bag clamping device is adaptable to 1200-1400L bag types. After the heavy bag is filled, the lifting mechanism lowers the bag steadily to the floor pallet, realizing the state conversion from upper suspension to bottom support, and then automatically releases the bag mouth and unhooks in a pneumatic way.
  • Material Standard: All metal parts in direct contact with calcium carbonate powder are made of 316L stainless steel to fully guarantee corrosion resistance and cleanliness.

II. Detailed Packaging Process (From Filling to Palletizing)

Taking the calcium carbonate ton bag packaging machine as an example, the entire packaging line can realize unmanned continuous operation. The specific operation process is broken down as follows:

Step 1: Manually Assisted Bag Hanging and Pneumatic Locking

The operator manually hangs the four suspender belts of the empty bulk bag on the bag hanging device. After automatic identification by the system, the pneumatic device clamps the bag mouth instantly and enters the filling standby state.

Step 2: Double Screw Fast Filling and Intelligent Weighing

After startup, the double screw feeding system performs fast feeding with materials falling by self-weight. The integrated PLC weighing controller collects sensor data in real time and automatically switches to slow feeding when approaching the set packaging weight. During this process, the lifting cylinder on the weighing platform drives the bag to compact up and down several times to discharge air trapped in the powder, improving filling density and bag shape flatness.

Step 3: Air Inflation, Air Return and Cut-off Anti-leakage

At the moment feeding stops, the inflation and air return dust removal pipeline starts, cooperating with the cut-off butterfly valve at the outlet to quickly cut off the material flow, completely eliminating dust emission and measurement error caused by falling residual powder at the bag mouth.

Step 4: Automatic Unhooking, Bag Dropping and Conveying

After weighing is completed, the lifting mechanism lowers the heavy bag to the preset pallet on the ground, and the bag bottom changes from suspended state to reliable support. The bag clamping device automatically releases the bag mouth and unhooks the suspenders, and the track conveyor transports out the heavy bag.

Step 5: Sealing, Sewing, Weight and Metal Inspection

The packaging bags are conveyed by the belt conveyor to the integrated automatic sealing and edge folding sewing station. After sewing, the bags pass through a high-precision recheck weigher for weight screening in sequence, and then go through a metal detector to eliminate products containing foreign metal impurities, ensuring qualified finished products.

Step 6: Robot Palletizing and Warehousing

Qualified and sewn finished bags are neatly stacked on pallets by grabbing robots or high-level palletizers according to preset stacking patterns, completing the full closed-loop process from powder filling to warehousing and circulation.

III. Common Customer Pain Points and Specialized Solutions

Through communication with the technical team of Guangzhou Marchi, we sorted out the four major concerns of calcium carbonate manufacturers in the packaging link and summarized the corresponding solutions:

Pain Point 1: Powder is easy to float, leading to difficult workshop dust control

Solution: The calcium carbonate packaging machine adopts a fully enclosed screw feeding channel and dual pipelines for inflation and air return to collect dust from the source of filling. The MCZD-25F model is equipped with a high-power dust removal exhaust interface, which is directly connected to the factory dust collection pipe network to greatly reduce unorganized emissions.

Pain Point 4: Poor adaptability to non-standard materials and high labor dependence

Solution: The complete packaging line is fully compatible with hundreds of powder materials such as calcium carbonate, talc powder, silicon dioxide, carbon black, mica powder, graphene powder and metal powder. With servo control and industrial computer configuration reserved with formula functions, only parameter calling is required for material switching without tedious mechanical adjustment.

The total power is 2.45KW with AC380V 50Hz power supply, and 316L stainless steel is adopted for parts in contact with materials.
